In order to fulfill the tasks of an inspection supervisor, in many cases education of level 3 according to EN 473 is required for every non-destructive process in question. For obtaining this qualification, both theoretical knowledge and practical skills have to be proven. The way for obtaining these has been regulated in EN 473.
We offer you two different routes:
- You participate in a basic training of at least four non-destructive testing procedures. Further, you will be taught the basic knowledge on material engineering.
Depending on your previous knowledge (whether you already have received an education as a welding engineer or whether you already do perform tasks related to testing within your company) you will be offered individual training modules and training times. These can be organized by yourself depending on your time schedule.
- First you achieve the qualification for the International Welding Inspector (IWI). Based on this you can obtain a certificate according to level 3 in the process you have chosen in training courses which are reduced in time.
