Testing and welding personnel, welding supervisors, welders, quality assurance personnel
An important area within radiographic testing is the proper evaluation of radiographic images. Many testers and inspectors in industry and trade assess whether the required manufacturing quality of a welded component has been achieved based on radiographic images, without performing the radiographic testing themselves.
Participants of this course will gain an overview of the fundamentals of radiographic testing of welds. A key focus is the evaluation of radiographic images in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Using numerous real-world examples, participants are taught the technical knowledge required for objective and standardized film interpretation. These skills are deepened through extensive practical exercises. An examination is conducted according to DIN EN ISO 9712, considering the Pressure Equipment Directive (DGRL) 2014/68/EU.
If the required experience in the field of film interpretation and physical fitness (eye test) has been proven, certification to Level 2 for the sector film interpretation of welds can be granted in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9712.
